Frequently Asked Questions

Question A. What are the engraving costs?
Your engraving cost is set at $1.50 per line for our custom plaques while there is no additional engraving costs on specialty plaques. (See Question B for plaque differences). The total number of lines is based upon the setup for wording, size and type of plate, and placement and size of logos or clipart. There is no additional charge for logos on lazered-engraved plaques. Diamond engraved costs are discussed in Question C. Engraving costs for trophy plates, individual plates, and acryllic products are included in their price.

Question B. What is the difference between a custom plaque and specialty plaque?
The Trophy Case can customize your plaque order based upon the type of board, size of board,  the color of metal plate, as well as the type of engraving you desire. Specialty Plaques are plaques offered by some of the best suppliers in the business. These plaques offer a variety of screen-printed plates and board shapes based upon your personal need.

Question C. What are the types of engraving processes provided?

The Trophy Case offers two techniques in meeting your engraving needs. The laser engraving and diamond engraving processes provide two approaches to personalize your order.

Question D. What if I cannot find the product online?
We have tried to provide a wide variety of product choices on-line but if you do not see exactly what you are looking for, please call or visit our showroom at your convenience. We have access to many of the premier suppliers in the awards business.

Question E. What is the cost of reproducing a desired logo or clip-art?
The Trophy Case can reproduce any approved corporate logo or desired clip art to personalize your order. A camera-ready black and white copy or a .tif format copy is preferred for the best reproduction quality possible. Our staff will work with you to provide the best quality image possible.

Question F. What is the expected turnaround time?

The Trophy Case policy for the completion of most orders is two days. There are instances that the products must be ordered and shipping time prevents a two day delivery. We will work with any customer to provide the order in the most timely manner possible. For larger orders, The Trophy Case appreciates your consideration in providing a lead time of 3 to 5 days, if possible.

Question G. Is there a rush charge policy?
The Trophy Case seeks to fill every customer order in a timely, professional manner. Production demands and schedules often limit the ability to meet same day orders. A ($5) five dollar charge is added to orders that are requested within 24 hours. Question H. What are the applicable shipping and payment policies?
The Trophy Case will meet your shipping needs through the US Postal Service or United Parcel Service (UPS). Postal costs plus a handling charge of an additional $2 per shipment will apply. Payments for non-established accounts can be made by VISA or Master Card. Personal Checks are only acceptable if previously approved and apply to pick-up orders only. 

Question I. Is delivery of an order available?
Deliveries are available within Pitt County if arrangements are made at the time of the order. A $5 added charge will apply to these deliveries.

Question J. Is Assistance with an On-going Awards Program possible?
We will be more than happy to work with any business, group, or organization in maintaining a  recognition program, whether monthly or annually based. We will maintain applicable records on the applicable setup and work with any customer in complementing their on-going award needs.
